Did Kawhi Just End the Drake Curse?

For those of you who have been paying attention, the Toronto Raptors have been cursed by Drake and his fandom. The last several years with the Lowry-Derozan combo the Raptors have lost in heartbreaking fashion to the LeBron-led Cavs. They have been a joke since 2001 when the almighty Vince Carter could not get his team past Allen Iverson and the 76ers. That year Vince went to his college graduation the same day as game 7 of that series.  Fast forward to today’s game 7:

This is a much better outcome for the Greater Toronto Area.  It vindicates the trade of Derozan for Kawhi Leonard. That trade made Kyle Lowry cry and could have been a chemistry killer.   Kawhi has been very dominant this playoffs and leads the Raptors into the Eastern Conference Finals against the “Greek Freak” Giannis Antetokounmpo. This is the battle I have been dreaming of. If the Raptors somehow get past that monster and the Bucks, then you would have to say the Drake Curse is over.
