The Alliance of American Football Gears Up for Week 3

Salt Lake’s Rice-Eccles Stadium and Atlanta’s Georgia State Stadium Host First Alliance Home Games

Unbeatens Arizona, Orlando and Birmingham Look to Stay Perfect

The Alliance of American Football rolls into its third weekend of play following an exhilarating week two that featured second-half comeback victories in all four games.
Week three starts on Saturday with B/R Live’s first-ever Alliance broadcast as The Stallions (0-2) welcome The Arizona Hotshots (2-0) to Salt Lake in their home opener at Rice-Eccles Stadium at 3:00 PM ET. B/R Live is available at and by downloading the B/R Live app through iTunes or Google Play; and/or Apple TV, the Roku platform and Amazon Fire TV. Arizona looks to stay unbeaten behind the strength of their prolific passing game, led by quarterback John Wolford, who ranks first in the league with six touchdown passes through the first two games of the season.
Saturday concludes with The Memphis Express (0-2) visiting The Orlando Apollos (2-0) at Spectrum Stadium in a primetime matchup on NFL Network (8:00 PM ET). Orlando moved to 2-0 on the season with a 37-29 victory last week, which earned quarterback Garrett Gilbert and cornerback Keith Reaser Player of the Week honors for their performances.
On Sunday, The Birmingham Iron (2-0) travel to Atlanta to take on The Legends (0-2) in their first home game at Georgia State Stadium at 4:00 PM ET on CBS Sports Network. The Iron, led by head coach Tim Lewis, look to keep their perfect record intact after a come-from-behind win in week two that was punctuated by running back Trent Richardson’s game-winning two-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Week three wraps up on Sunday night as The San Diego Fleet (1-1) play host to The San Antonio Commanders (1-1) at 8:00 PM ET on NFL Network. The Fleet, who won their home opener 24-12 last week, aim to stay unbeaten at San Diego County Credit Union Stadium.
